Skinningrove Works - Melchett Centre

I am an employee at British Steel Skinningrove and we are looking for some information on the “Melchett Centre” that was built on the works as a welfare block. We have some old articles and believe this was build Aug / Sept 1976 and then at a later date had a grand opening of some kind.

If anyone has any information about this it would be very welcome?
