Mystery 'Pease Stone'

I’ve drawn a complete blank on this one, so i’m open to suggestions. The stone looks to have been laid as a dedication stone on what is now a garage. Best I can come up with is “A Pease” followed by an obscured date.
Old maps don’t seem to name the building but it pre-dates the nearby school and Police Station.
