Margaret Snowdon & Reginald Harland

Two very special people taken in Scarborough about 1965

This was Uncle Reg in the back garden of Ridgewood. We always called him 'Farmer Brown' in this photograph, but I don't recall why.

You can see Meadowfields in the background.

Seeing the swing in next doors garden reminds me of Mr & Mrs Blenkey, and their children, Sarah, Amanda and Richard, we used to play with them when they lived there, and went to school at Lythe with them, when we had to stay for a few months.
They emigrated to New Zealand.

Photograph kindly contributed by Alison Small (nee Thomas).
